Jonathan Kasdan (In the Land of Women) will write and direct teen romance The First Time for Castle Rock Entertainment.
The film “focuses on the first weekend in the blooming love between a boy and a girl in high school.”
“It’s really just two large parts — a boy and a girl,” Kasdan said about the lead roles. “They meet, and its the first throes of their relationship… Before it gets bad, like they all inevitably do.”
Casting is currently underway for a planned late-spring shoot in Los Angeles.
