DreamWorks Animation has provided ComingSoon.net with the new poster for Shrek Forever After, opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D on May 21. The Mike Mitchell-directed film features the voices of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Jon Hamm, Kathy Griffin and Kristen Schaal.
In related news, The Hollywood Reporter says that DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg announced at the NAB convention in Las Vegas on Wednesday that the company is converting the first three “Shrek” movies to 3D for a Blu-ray Disc release.
“Our movies exist in digital files to begin with. To go back and rebuild to a quality 3D experience is not inexpensive, but we are about to achieve a pretty high quality result,” Katzenberg said.
