Three New Posters for ‘The Host’ Tout Believing, Loving and Fighting

I don’t think anyone expects The Host to repeat the same kind of box-office success we saw from the Twilight films, but there is something to be said about the Stephenie Meyer fanbase following so perhaps it will accomplish more than expected when it arrives in theaters on March 29.

Today, Yahoo delivers three new posters for the film with a “Choose to ________” catchphrase filled in with Believe, Love and Fight. I’m not entirely sure, which of those you are supposed to do first, but I assume you would probably want to believe first, then fall in love and then fight for it.

The film is described as a love story set in the future, where Earth is occupied by a species who erase the minds of their human hosts, leaving their bodies intact. Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan) is one of the last surviving humans who fights back, risking her life for the people she cares about most – Jared (Max Irons), Ian (Jake Abel), her brother Jamie (Chandler Canterbury) and her Uncle Jeb (William Hurt) – proving that love can conquer all.
