Fox Atomic is developing Shimmer Lake, a murder mystery with a bank heist at its center, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The project is based on a spec script by debut screenwriter Oren Uziel. Barry Josephson, executive producer on the Fox series “Bones” and producer of the Disney theatrical hit Enchanted, will produce.
“Lake” centers on a sheriff investigating a series of murders as well as the disappearance of a bank robber, with clues and the movie’s timeline leading back to a heist the robber committed.
