ShockTillYouDrop.com talked to French director Alexandre Aja, who gave an update on Dimension Films’ Piranha 3-D, which he will direct and co-wrote with Josh Stolberg. The remake of Joe Dante’s Piranha was scheduled for a July 24, 2009 release, but the helmer says the winter shoot on the water was delayed. Instead, principal photography will start in the spring.
