I recently asked Avi Arad, head honcho over at Marvel Studios, if the theaters could soon become saturated with superhero movies, and he was quick to tell me no due to the large variety of superhero movies possible out of the world of comics, which was a valid point but I am not quite sure he had this in mind.
The film follows a superhero (Thurman) who falls for a regular guy (Wilson). He’s OK with her superhuman abilities but can’t take her neediness. When he dumps her, she uses her powers to turn the guy’s life into a nightmare.
The script was written by “Simpsons” scribe Don Payne and is expected to shoot in New York this fall.
