Grace is Gone helmer James Strouse is set to write and direct The Winning Season, an indie comedy centering on a high school girls basketball coach.
Variety says Sam Rockwell, Emma Roberts and Rob Corddry are starring.
The film tracks a divorced, down-on-his-luck coach (Rockwell) who makes a bid for redemption by coaching his daughter’s team.
New York-based Gigi Productions and Plum Pictures are producing.
The film will shoot in October in the New York area.
