The story centers on a successful bachelor who boldly offers to care for his widowed sister and her daughters in the aftermath of a family tragedy.
Tom McCarthy has been hired to rewrite a screenplay penned by Mark Friedman. Levy is producing Father Figure through his Fox-based 21 Laps. Basil Iwanyk is executive producing.
Levy is in pre-production on the sequel to Night at the Museum, which he will direct and produce for Fox. That film is aiming for a spring start.
