Fox Atomic has bought comedy script Space Invader with Will Arnett attached to star and produce along with Peter Principato and Paul Young through their Principato Young Entertainment.
Variety says the space station-set story, written by Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger, centers on a love triangle. The writing team, who developed the script with Arnett, began working on the script months before the recent arrest of astronaut Lisa Nowak on charges that she tried to murder a woman she believed was her rival for a Space Shuttle pilot.
Robbie Brenner and John Davis will executive produce Space Invader.
