20th Century Fox is getting ready for a Thrill Ride. Deadline has just revealed that the studio has snagged an original slasher comedy pitch from Neighbors scribes Brendan O’Brien and Andrew Jay Cohen. The pair are also attached to direct.
Peter Warren will provide the full screenplay for Thrill Ride, which takes place at the end of a high school semester and follows the senior class on an exclusive visit to an amusement part. It’s not long, however, before people start turning up dead and the survivors find themselves trapped and at the hands of a homicidal madman or woman.
Chernin Entertainment will produce Thrill Ride alongside Cohen and O’Brien.
