Regina Hall (Think Like a Man, About Last Night) and Keegan-Michael Key (“Key & Peele”) have both joined the cast of Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema’s now-in-production sequel/reboot, Vacation. Variety has the news, reporting that the pair will play the heads of an idyllic family that are friends with the Griswolds.
Hall and Key join Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Chris Hemsworth, Charlie Day, Skyler Gisondo, Steele Stebbins, Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo in the Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley film.
The new version of the vacation adventures of the quirky dad and his family will follow an adult Rusty Griswold (Helms), who now has his own family misadventures on the road.
Chris Bender, David Dobkin, Jeff Kleeman are producing.
