News broke last month that Relativity Media and Hasbro would no longer be teaming up for a Stretch Armstrong movie. Their deal was announced two years ago, but if you remember, an even earlier deal had Universal Pictures teaming with Hasbro to make a movie that would star Taylor Lautner. That movie never went anywhere, but now an animatic sequence from that first version of the project has made its way online.
The sequence features storyboards by Collin Grant and was animated by Jim Rothwel. You can check it out below, thanks to Film Sketcher (via io9). Grant has worked on films like The Matrix, X2 and I Am Legend, while Rothwell’s credits include Iron Man, Thor and Spider-Man 2.
