A new TV spot for TriStar Pictures’ Evil Dead will air during “The Walking Dead” this Sunday, but you can watch the spot a few days early below. The spot features an intro by producer and original star Bruce Campbell and director Fede Alvarez.
Opening in theaters on April 5, the re-imagining of Sam Raimi’s horror classic stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas and Elizabeth Blackmore. In the film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
