ComingSoon.net’s horror arm ShockTillYouDrop.com visited the Chicago set of New Line/Warner Bros.’ A Nightmare on Elm Street last summer and has posted their set report, featuring quotes from Platinum Dunes’ Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, and an interview with the new Freddy Krueger, Jackie Earle Haley.
Opening in theaters on April 30, the Samuel Bayer-directed A Nightmare on Elm Street is a contemporary re-imagining of the horror classic. In the film, a group of suburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake, they can protect one another…but when they sleep, there is no escape. Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton co-star.
