Where is the gang heading next?
The Walking Dead‘s Robert Kirkman (writer/creator) spoke with EW about the status of season two, due to air this fall.
He confirmed Frank Darabont and the writing team (which includes Kirkman) are “mapping out” what’s to come, however, he can’t reveal specifics.
“I know [showrunner Frank Darabont] has said we’re going to see Hershel’s farm. We’re looking to take some picturesque rural landscapes and playing with that and coming up with some cool zombie visuals. We’ll see some of the locations of the first season, but we’re going to mainly focus on breaking new ground. Oh, and we’re going to feature a lava planet.”
Oh, that Kirkman. What a sense of humor. It’s good to hear Hershel’s farm is playing into the story – that means more characters and more problems.
