DePalma’s Resume on the Remake Slab

Dressed to Kill revisited

Carrie, Sisters…and now Dressed to Kill is up for a remake. The 1980 film is the target of MGM and Hyde Park Entertainment’s mission to create a line of demographically-driven direct-to-DVD flicks. Rick Alexander – writer of TV’s “Strong Medicine” and producer of the upcoming Conan the Barbarian for Warner Bros. – is writing the update.

The original Dressed to Kill stars Nancy Allen, Michael Caine, Keith Gordon, Dennis Franz and Angie Dickinson in an unusual web that concerns a transsexual killer. Pino Donnagio contributed the score.

“Kill” is all part of that MGM DTV deal that was cooked up two months back – click here for more details.
