Swedish zombies come to the US
Pre-production on a remake of the Swedish zombie film Paradise Lost is now going strong. The American translation concerns a young man looking for his sister only to learn she has been zombified. Although we can’t find much more info on the source material, Variety says the redux is being spearheaded via a partnership between Maverick Red (a division of Maverick Films) and Sweden’s Grindhouse Pictures. Locations are being scouted in South Carolina.
Eric Thompson, Mark Morgan and Guy Oseary are producing. This trio are also shepherding Digger, the story of a deranged grave digger.
