Will Ferrell to Make First Oscar Show Appearance


Actor Will Ferrell will make his first appearance as an Oscar show presenter at the 76th Academy Awards, telecast producer Joe Roth announced today.

Ferrell can currently be seen in the Christmas comedy Elf and recently completed filming Anchorman and a Woody Allen film scheduled for release in Fall 2004. His film credits include Old School, Zoolander and A Night at the Roxbury.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2003 will be presented on February 29, 2004, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. (PST) with a half-hour arrivals segment.
