Recently in WWE RAW, Liv Morgan retained the Women’s World Championship in a steel cage match against Becky Lynch. With Becky Lynch’s contract expiring soon, this match on WWE RAW could be her last match under her current deal. Also, if she doesn’t sign a new contract, it could mark her departure from WWE.
However, following her shocking loss to Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch has seemingly confirmed her future with WWE. Lynch took to Instagram, sharing a picture of herself with the caption “to be continued.” While her contract is set to expire, her latest post strongly suggests that she will continue to stay with WWE.
Becky Lynch potentially taking a break from WWE TV after RAW loss
Reports have emerged that Becky Lynch faced Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 40, but after WrestleMania, Lynch was scheduled to take time off. However, Rhea Ripley, who was in a feud with Liv Morgan, got injured, forcing her to relinquish her Women’s World Title.
This resulted in WWE announcing a battle royal to determine a new women’s champion, which also marked Lynch’s comeback on WWE programming. She was originally scheduled to take time off. Her return saw her in a program with Liv Morgan, and subsequently, Lynch lost her title to Morgan.
However, amidst the contract situation with the promotion, even if Lynch re-signs with the promotion, it is quite possible that she could take time off.
