The Undertaker Gives His Take on WWE Draft 2024

During his Six Feet Under Raw Recap, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker expressed dissatisfaction with the recent WWE 2024 Draft results. The draft received heavy criticism from fans for not making significant draft moves on both nights of the show.

The Undertaker mentioned that he wished there had been more deals made as part of the draft. He explained that he found the lack of significant changes and drama in the draft to be somewhat underwhelming. He stated, “You’re expecting your fan base to watch two nights of TV content. And I mean, to be completely honest, there wasn’t a whole lot of change really. It’s difficult to get everyone placed right. You got to get everyone placed where they’re supposed to be moving forward, and I can tell they’re making efforts to do that. The way the Draft is promoted. I just think there needs to be some more something like you said drama, something needs to happen big where people get hooked.”

Backstage reaction to the 2024 WWE Draft

While fans were unhappy with the WWE Draft results, WWE seems content with how it turned out. Additionally, the draft saw Roman Reigns remove himself from consideration. Despite this, huge names like Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, Kevin Owens, and Liv Morgan remain on their respective brands.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE is generally satisfied with the draft results and how everything unfolded on TV. They preferred not to have too many major changes at the top of the card. They were pleased with the pre-draft arrangements.

While the WWE Draft may not have seen huge names switching brands, notable names like Damage CTRL, LWO, Ilja Dragunov, Bron Breakker, and Nia Jax switched their brands. Meanwhile, the champions of the respective brands were protected. This prevented them from switching brands, as in the previous editions of the WWE Draft.
