WWE Denies Claims of The Rock Being Late to WrestleMania 40

WWE has supported The Rock by responding to a report and claiming that the report is untrue. The Rock, who recently returned to WWE from his busy Hollywood schedule, participated in this year’s WWE WrestleMania 40. Fans witnessed a side of The Rock that they hadn’t seen in years. The Rock, involved in the Bloodline and Cody Rhodes’ storylines, decided to turn heel, adding excitement to the match lineup for WWE WrestleMania 40.

A recent report from The Wrap garnered attention for various allegations against The Rock. The report stated that The Rock was unprofessional on the set of his upcoming movie, “Red One.” The report further claimed that his “chronic lateness and lack of professionalism on set,” coupled with a few other factors, led the final budget to exceed $250 million, which was not originally anticipated. Additionally, the report shed light on The Rock’s recent tenure in WWE, mentioning that he was three hours late before his match with Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes on night one of WWE WrestleMania 40.

While these reports have made significant headlines regarding The Rock, it now appears that WWE has decided to address these allegations. The promotion has debunked the rumors about him being late before his match at WrestleMania 40. Chris Legentil, WWE’s executive vice president for talent relations and head of communications, refutes the claim of lateness at WrestleMania. He stated, “Dwayne was not only on time for WrestleMania, he was hours early to help with rehearsal and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire run.”

Even a representative of Amazon MGM has chosen to dispel these rumors, stating that they are both “ridiculous and false.”

The Rock takes hiatus after WWE WrestleMania 40

The Rock recently had a great build-up for WWE WrestleMania 40. He is now set to take a hiatus from WWE and return to Hollywood to shoot his upcoming movie. The Rock will focus on his upcoming movie called ‘The Smashing Machine,’ based on Mark Kerr, a formidable figure in the MMA world and a two-time UFC Heavyweight Tournament Champion.

Furthermore, before leaving to shoot for his upcoming movie after WWE RAW following WrestleMania 40, he confronted Cody Rhodes, stating that he would be going away for a while from WWE.
