Jack Perry Makes a Shocking Return at AEW Dynasty

Jack Perry, the former FTW Champion, made a startling return at AEW Dynasty, unleashing chaos during a tag team bout. His last appearance was at AEW All In London, where Hook emerged victorious, resulting in Perry losing the FTW Championship.

After the match, Jack Perry had a backstage altercation with WWE Superstar CM Punk, leading to AEW firing Punk and suspending Perry from the promotion. Although Punk eventually returned to WWE, Perry remained absent from AEW. However, he reappeared in NJPW, where he has been wrestling for the past few months.

Reports have emerged that Tony Khan was upset with Jack Perry for causing CM Punk’s departure, leading him to join their competitor, WWE. Ahead of their match, the Bucks made references to Perry, leading fans to speculate that he was on his way back to AEW.

In the lead-up to their ladder match, The Young Bucks aired backstage footage of an altercation between CM Punk and Jack Perry, eliciting a mixed response from fans. Tony Khan and The Young Bucks stated that showing the footage was the right move as it fits the storyline involving FTR for the ladder match.

During a riveting ladder match between The Young Bucks and FTR at AEW Dynasty, an unforeseen disruption occurred. Suddenly, a masked figure leaped into the ring, sparking initial speculation of fan interference. Security swiftly pursued the intruder, cornering him where he revealed himself as none other than Jack Perry.

Jack Perry’s interference costs FTR AEW titles at Dynasty

At Dynasty, The Young Bucks and FTR competed for the vacant AEW tag team titles. Following Sting’s retirement match, the titles had yet to be attained. This led to a new tournament to crown the new tag team champions. In the course of the event, The Young Bucks and FTR advanced to the finale.

The climactic moment of the match featured a masked figure revealing himself as Jack Perry. He emerged from the crowd, pushed Dax Harwood from the ladder, and allowed Nick Jackson to climb up and win the titles. This made The Young Bucks the first-ever three-time AEW tag champions. Security escorted Perry away. It will be interesting to see if Perry decides to join The Elite as their new member.
