Ahead of WWE RAW, reports emerged that Rhea Ripley might relinquish her title due to the injury. Ripley confirmed the news on WWE RAW by officially announcing her title relinquishment due to injury. This marked the end of her 380-day title reign.

He took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news that Morgan has no backstage heat. The Rhea Ripley injury incident was seen as a freak accident.
