Update on Dominik Mysterio’s Future in WWE NXT

WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio is currently at a crossroads following his loss at NXT Deadline this past Saturday. At NXT Deadline, Dominik Mysterio was defeated by SmackDown star Dragon Lee, who replaced his original competitor Wes Lee. Moreover, he went silent on social media after losing the title. Mysterio even called out Judgment Day for not having his back during his match at the premium live event.

As Lee starts his reign as the new NXT North American Champion, it seems Dirty Dom’s time in NXT might have ended.

Fueling the rumors, WWE’s official website replaced Dominik Mysterio with Dragon Lee on the NXT show banner. This hints at a potential shift for the emerging star. If these signs have any truth, Dominik’s NXT journey might be coming to an end.

On the latest edition of NXT, there were indications that Dominik Mysterio may not be returning to the yellow and black brand. Lee faced off against Tyler Bate on the latest episode of NXT and emerged victorious.

Additionally, various reports revealed that Lee will defend his title in the forthcoming NXT episode against a member of the ‘No Quarter Catch Crew.’

Dominik Mysterio gears up for huge clash after WWE NXT Deadline loss

Dominik Mysterio, who suffered a significant setback at WWE NXT Deadline, is gearing up for a major match in a few weeks against the returning superstar CM Punk.

Punk recently announced on RAW that he would be entering the 2024 Royal Rumble match, a declaration many believe signaled his return to WWE. However, on X, it was announced that CM Punk is slated to go head-to-head with ‘Dirty Dom’ at the December 26 live event at Madison Square Garden and the December 30 event in Inglewood, California.

CM Punk will return to the WWE ring with his first match at the 2014 Royal Rumble. His most recent wrestling appearance took place in August at Wembley Stadium, where he secured victory against Samoa Joe.
