Set to air April 17, the episode is titled “Shadow of Death: The Book of War” and is described as follows:
“THE SHOWDOWN – The aftermath of the showdown with Black Lightning (Cress Williams) leaves everyone reeling. Meanwhile, Tobias (Marvin Jones III) gathers his forces. Nafessa Williams, China Anne McClain, Christine Adams and Damon Gupton also star.”
The episode was written by Charles D. Holland and directed by Salim Akil.
Black Lightning stars Cress Williams as the title hero with Nafessa Williams and China Anne McClain as his daughters, with Christine Adams, Damon Gupton, and James Remar.
Based on the characters from DC, Black Lightning is from Berlanti Productions and Akil Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Salim Akil & Mara Brock Akil (Being Mary Jane, The Game, Girlfriends), and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, The Flash). The Black Lightning character was created by Tony Isabella with Trevor Von Eeden.
