Netflix's Cargo Trailer Starring Martin Freeman

Netflix’s Cargo Trailer Featuring Martin Freeman

Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming emotional post-apocalyptic thriller Cargo, starring Martin Freeman (Black Panther, Sherlock) as a father trying to save his child at all costs. Check out the Cargo trailer in the player below and let us know what you think!

Stranded in rural Australia in the aftermath of a violent pandemic, an infected father, Andy (Freeman), desperately seeks a new home for his infant child, and a means to protect her from his own changing nature. The trailer provides a first look at the terrifying new world Andy and his child are struggling to survive in, as well as a reason for hope and why we remain human in a world overtaken by the dead.

The film also stars Natasha Wanganeen (Freedom) and David Gulpilil (Australia). Cargo was written by Yolanda Ramke and directed by Ramke alongside Ben Howling. The film comes from the same producer that brought us The Babadook and is based on the viral short film, which was also directed by Howling and Ramke and released in 2013.

Cargo will premiere on the streaming site on May 18, 2018.
