Four New Character Videos from MTV’s Scream the TV Series

Wes Craven’s Scream films were all about irreverently playing with the tropes of horror movies (final girls, if you have sex you die, etc.), and MTV’s “Scream: The TV Series” has lined up a new stock of attractive lambs being led to the slaughter. Four new videos highlight our genre archetype representatives for The Loner, The Fool, The Jock and, everyone’s favorite, The Innocent. Check them out below!

In “Scream: The TV Series,” everyone has secrets. Everyone tells lies. Everyone is fair game. What starts as a YouTube video going viral, soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past.

The “Scream: The TV Series” stars Bex Taylor-Klaus, Willa Fitzgerald, John Karna, Connor Weil and Amadeus Serafini.

The show’s premiere, set to air June 30 on MTV at 10 PM EST, features Bella Thorne in what’s apparently a recreation of the original film’s classic opening sequence. Jamie Travis (For a Good Time, Call…) directed the pilot.
