ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Star Trek: Strange New Worlds deleted scene from the series’ first season. Season 1 will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and limited-edition Blu-ray Steelbook on March 21, then as a 4K UHD Steelbook on May 16.
The physical release contains over 90 minutes of special features, including exclusive cast and crew interviews, a gag reel, deleted scenes, and more. CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment will also be hosting a 21+ trivia night to celebrate the home entertainment release, which will take place on Friday, March 24 at the Scum and Villainy Cantina in Hollywood at 7 p.m. PST.

“Based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise, the series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy,” reads the logline. The series stars Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, and Rebecca Romijn.
