Apple TV+ has dropped the official trailer for the upcoming third season of the workplace comedy Mythic Quest, which is scheduled to make its return on November 11.
The Mythic Quest Season 3 trailer features Ian and Poppy working on their newest game together after leaving Mythic Quest. However, Ian can’t seem to focus as he can’t let go of his previous game. This leads him to begin a rivalry against Mythic Quest’s newest leader David.
Mythic Quest hails from creators and executive producers Megan Ganz, Charlie Day, and Rob McElhenney, who is also leading the series as Ian Grimm. The series follows the team behind the biggest multiplayer video game of all time.
“In season three, as Ian and Poppy navigate the gaming world and their partnership at the newly formed GrimPop Studios, Dana is forced to play mediator to her bosses’ incessant bickering,” reads the logline. “Back at Mythic Quest, David settles into his new role as the boss where he truly finds himself in charge for the first time with Jo returning as his assistant — more loyal and militant than ever; and Carol attempts to figure out where she fits in after a new promotion. At Berkeley, Rachel struggles to balance her morals with capitalism, while a post-prison Brad tries to return to society as a reformed man.”
Joining McElhenney are Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, Ashly Burch, Jessie Ennis, and David Hornsby, who also executive produces. Additional cast includes Naomi Ekperigin, Caitlin McGee, Humphrey Ker, Chris Naoki Lee, and Jonathan Wiggs.
Mythic Quest is executive produced by Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel on behalf of 3Arts, Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik, Gérard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film and Television, and Hornsby, while Apple TV+ by Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Ubisoft all produce.
