The Afterparty Teaser: Tiffany Haddish Leads Apple’s Whodunnit Series

Apple TV+ has released the first teaser for the forthcoming murder mystery comedy series titled The Afterparty, featuring an all-star comedic cast led by Tiffany Haddish. The 8-episode series is scheduled to make its debut in January 2022.

The Afterparty teaser, which you can check out in the player below, begins with a high school reunion which leads to one of its alumni’s death. From there, the whodunnit game begins as each attendee gets questioned about the suspicious death.

“This is one of the most surprising, original and fun projects we’ve ever made,” Phil Lord and Chris Miller said in a statement. “Our goal was to tell a comedic whodunnit story in a new and exciting way. By giving each episode its own unique style of storytelling, we were able to make what feels like eight distinctly different but interconnected films that highlight how everyone’s personal perspective and biases shape how they see the world.”
