Killing Eve Final Season Begins Production with New BTS Teaser

BBC America has announced that production on the upcoming fourth and final season of the critically-acclaimed drama series Killing Eve has officially begun in the U.K., after over a year since the third season had concluded its 8-episode run.

The announcement also came with the release of a behind-the-scenes teaser which you can check out below, teasing the return of Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer’s fan-favorite duo Eve and Villanelle. Season 4 is currently slated for a 2022 release.

Based on the novella by Luke Jennings, BBCA’s Killing Eve centers on two women; Eve (Sandra Oh) is a bored, whip-smart, pay-grade security services operative whose desk-bound job doesn’t fulfill her fantasies of being a spy. Villanelle (Jodie Comer) is an elegant, talented killer who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her. Killing Eve topples the typical spy-action thriller as these two fiercely intelligent women, equally obsessed with each other, go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse.
