What If…? Episode 7 Teaser & Clip Features Chris Hemsworth’s Party Thor

Marvel Studios has debuted the teaser and clip for Disney+’s What If…? series’ upcoming seventh episode, titled “What If…? Thor was an Only Child,” featuring the voices of Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman as they reprise their respective MCU roles as Thor and Jane Foster. The animated series is scheduled to return tomorrow, September 22.

The What If…? Episode 7 teaser provides us our first preview at a new alternate reality of Thor’s origins, where he never had Loki as his brother. In the teaser, this version of Thor is more social and reckless as he brings Asgardians to Earth to party. Meanwhile, in the clip (via Rotten Tomatoes), he is seen partying alongside Skrulls, the Grandmaster, and Topaz as well as his first meeting with Jane Foster. The episode will also feature the return of Jeff Goldblum, Rachel House, Taika Waititi, and Kat Dennings.

What If…? hails from head writer AC Bradley and director Bryan Andrew. The first season is expected to only cover the events from the movies of the Infinity Saga. The animated series will feature the introduction of The Watcher, who serves as the narrator throughout the first season. The character is being voiced by Jeffrey Wright.

The series will also feature the voices of MCU vets who reprise their roles including Hayley Atwell, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michael B. Jordan, Sebastian Stan, Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Natalie Portman, Paul Rudd, Tilda Swinton, Taika Waititi, Danai Gurira, Paul Bettany, Rachel McAdams and more.

The first six episodes of What If…? titled “What If… Captain Carter Was the First Avenger,” “What If… T’Challa Became a Star-Lord,” “What If…the World Lost its Mightiest Heroes,” “What If… Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands,” “What If…Zombies,” and “What If…Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark” are now available for streaming.
