The Baby-Sitters Club Season 2 Trailer: The Girls Are Back in Business

Netflix has released the full trailer for the upcoming second season of Rachel Shukert’s popular teen dramedy The Baby-Sitters Club, based on the iconic children’s novels. The series is scheduled to make its return on Monday, October 11, with eight new episodes.

The Baby-Sitters Club Season 2 trailer, which you can check out below, highlights the return of everyone’s favorite girl squad as they resume business while facing new friendships and new challenges together.

Netflix’s newest series adaptation of The Baby-Sitters Club is based on Ann M. Martin’s best-selling book series that centers around the friendship and adventures of Kristy Thomas, Mary-Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer as the middle-schoolers start their babysitting business in the town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut.

“In Season 2, as demand for their club continues to grow, founders Kristy Thomas, Mary-Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer have now welcomed Mallory Pike and Jessi Ramsey to their ranks,” reads the synopsis. “With the new school year comes booming business, new relationships, personal journeys, and important lessons, but through it all the club is there for each other every step of the way.”

The series is being led by Sophia Grace, Malia Baker, Momona Tamada, Stacey McGill, and Kyndra Sanchez, who replaces Xochitl Gomez for the role of Dawn. Joining them are Vivian Watson, Anais Lee, Alicia Silverstone, Mark Feuerstein. and Marc Evan Jackson.

The Baby-Sitters Club is created and executive produced by Rachel Shukert (Glow), who is also serving as the showrunner. Executive producers are Lucia Aniello, Michael De Luca, Lucy Kitada, Sascha Rothchild, Naia Cucukov, Ben Forrer, and Frank Smith, with author Ann M. Martin attached as a producer.
