Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers Sneak Peek Teases Next Week’s Premiere

With only one week left to go before the debut of Nine Perfect Strangers, Hulu has released a sneak peek of the first episode of its newest limited series titled, “Random Acts of Mayhem,” featuring Melissa McCarthy, Nicole Kidman, and Manny Jacinto. The Nine Perfect Strangers sneak peek also highlights first meeting between McCarthy’s Frances and Kidman’s Masha. The series is scheduled to make its U.S. debut on Hulu on August 18, with the first three episodes. After the premiere, one episode will be released weekly on Wednesdays.

In addition, the official details for the first three episodes have also been revealed, which were all directed by Jonathan Levine. The official synopses are as follows:

Episode 1 titled, “Random Acts of Mayhem,” is written by David E. Kelly and John Henry Butterworth. “Promised total transformation, nine very different people arrive at Tranquillum House, a secluded retreat run by the mysterious wellness guru Masha.”

Episode 2 titled, “The Critical Path,” is written by David E. Kelly and John Henry Butterworth. “As healing begins, the guests begin to doubt the retreat’s unconventional methods. They came for massages and relaxation, not to face their own mortality.”

Episode 3 titled, “Earth Day,” is written by Samantha Strauss. “Forced to live “off of the land” on Earth Day, tension within the group erupts as treatment intensifies and hunger pains set in.”
