Nine Perfect Strangers Trailer Previews Hulu’s Star-Studded Miniseries

Hulu has finally released the full trailer for their newest limited series Nine Perfect Strangers, featuring a star-studded ensemble cast led by Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (Big Little Liesas a wellness guru. The video highlights nine individuals as they enter a wellness retreat run by Kidman’s Masha, in hopes of fixing something about their lives. The series is scheduled to make its U.S. debut on Hulu on August 18. It is also expected to be internationally released by Amazon Prime Video.

Based on author Liane Moriarty’s novel of the same name, the limited series takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation in just a span of 10 days. It will follow the story of nine stressed city dwellers as they try to get on a path that will improve and better their way of living. Watching over them is the resort’s director Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, soon they’ll realize that everything isn’t what it seems to be as these nine strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.

The all-star cast of Nine Perfect Strangers also includes Melissa McCarthy (Can You Ever Forgive Me?The Kitchen) as Frances, Luke Evans (The Alienist) as Lars, Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water) as Napoleon, Regina Hall (Girls’ Trip) as Carmel, Asher Keddie (Offspring) as Heather, Grace Van Patten (Tramps) as Zoe Marconi, Manny Jacinto (The Good Place) as Yao, Melvin Gregg as Ben, Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) as Jessica, Tiffany Boone (Hunters) as Delilah, and Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire) as Tony.

Nine Perfect Strangers is created by David E. Kelley ( Big Littles Lies) and John-Henry Butterworth, who is also currently co-writing the script to Indiana Jones 5. Executive producers also include Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, and Casey Haver for Made Up Stories, Kidman and Per Saari for Blossom Films, Moriarty, Kelley, and Butterworth.
