See Season 2 Teaser Previews Jason Momoa & Dave Bautista Showdown

Apple TV+ has officially renewed its action sci-fi drama series See for a third season, which has already started production in Toronto, Canada. The early renewal also came with the release of the first teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of the Jason Momoa-led series, featuring our first look at Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista as he portrays the antagonistic role of Edo Voss, the estranged brother of Momoa’s character, Baba Voss. See Season 2 is scheduled to make its return on Friday, August 27, exclusively on Apple TV+.

The See Season 2 teaser, which you can check out below, begins with Nesta Cooper’s Haniwa as she threatens her mysterious captor about the lengths that her father Baba Voss will go through in order to save her. However, her warnings don’t seem to faze the villain as he reveals that he is Baba Voss’ brother. The video also teases glimpses of the confrontation between Momoa and Bautista.

See is a high concept series that takes place in a future where humanity has lost the ability to perceive the world with sight. It will follow the story of fearless leader Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see—who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed.

In season two, Baba Voss is fighting to reunite his torn-apart family and get away from the war and politics that surround him, but the more he moves away, the deeper he gets sucked in, and the emergence of his nemesis brother threatens his family even more.

The series also stars Alfre Woodard, Hera Hilmar, Sylvia Hoeks, Christian Camargo, Yadira Guevara-Prip, Nesta Cooper, and Archie Madekwe. The new season is expected to introduce a few new characters including Eden Epstein, Tom Mison, Hoon Lee, Olivia Cheng, David Hewlett, and Tamara Tunie.
