The Falcon and The Winter Soldier release Zemo dancing extended cut

After the quick frames of Zemo dancing from last week’s The Falcon and The Winter Solider went viral, Marvel Studios has released an extended cut of the scene. Who would have thought that the very man who only wanted to tear the Avengers apart would also want to let loose on the dancefloor?

After a Twitter account called @ZemoDancingTo took the quick fist-pumping frames and set it to so many different songs, it was only a matter of time before we got more of the showstopping Baron of the dancefloor scene.

Yes, Daniel Brühl’s brilliant turn as enemy turned asset Zemo is even more popular than Good Value Captain America John Walker. Only one has been confirmed to have killed lots of people including Black Panther’s father. Even Bucky seems to have put aside that he was framed for that whole Captain America: Civil War mess. The previous episode played up Zemo’s aristocratic high-life demeanor while hinting here and there that he’s not to be trusted. But how quickly we forgot when he got his dancing shoes on in Madripoor.

About the showstopping scene Brühl told Entertainment Weekly:

“It’s so hysterical. [That moment] was improvised when I saw the crowd dancing, going loco. I felt the beat and was like, Zemo has been sitting in a dodgy German prison cell for years. So, he needs to let off some steam and show his moves. Let’s go for it! I enjoyed so much the reaction of Anthony and Sebastian looking at me. Still, I was 100 percent sure that they would cut it out. I was really surprised and happy that they kept it. It was a long dance. There’s more to it, but they cut this little moment. I didn’t know what was happening, but I then received all these messages from my friends cracking up. My friends who know me well know I’m an embarrassing, passionate dancer on the floor but it would be different moves. It would be the Spanish side of me kicking in and doing some matador, flamenco moves, going down on my knees. Highly embarrassing for my friends.”
