Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7 Sneak Peek Debuts Ahead of Next Week’s Premiere

Marvel Entertainment has released a sneak peek clip from the upcoming premiere episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 7, featuring the team led by Phil Coulson as they walked through 1931 New York City. The series is scheduled to make its return on Wednesday, May 27 with episode 7.01 titled “The New Deal.” Check out the video in the player below!

Directed by Kevin Tancharoen from a script written by George Kitson, the episode’s official synopsis reads: “Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened. If they fail, it would mean disaster for the past, present and future of the world.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7 will see the team created by agent Phil Coulson facing their last mission. After travelling in time to 1931 New York City, the Agents will try to stop the Chronicom hunters from establishing Earth as their home. At the same time, though, they will have to have to save the terrorist group known as Hydra for maintaining S.H.I.E.L.D. and its place in the timeline. Coulson and co. will have only thirteen episodes to make things right.

The series stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, John Hannah as Holden Radcliffe, Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell, and Nick Blood as Lance Hunter.

The series was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.
