Run episode 3 promo: Domnhall Gleeson & Meritt Wever decide their next move

HBO has released the promo for Run’s upcoming third episode titled “f*ck,” featuring Domnhall Gleeson and Meritt Wever‘s characters as they get haunted by their lives they’ve hastily left behind. Directed by Kate Dennis from a script by David Iserson, the new episode is set to air on April 26. Check out the video in the player below!

The episode’s official synopsis reads: “Ruby and Billy decide to spend a day in Chicago before making any rash decisions about their next moves. As the two anxiously await check-in at a lavish hotel, Ruby meets an exciting woman at a department store, while Billy tries to handle a relentless Fiona. Later, Billy comes clean about what drove him to run.”

Run is a romantic-comedic-thriller series that follows the story of Ruby, a woman living a humdrum existence, who one day gets a text inviting her to fulfill a youthful pact promising true love and self-reinvention by stepping out of her life to take a journey with her oldest flame Billy Johnson. A successful life guru who is born from a wealthy Irish family, Billy has the gift of the gab, deftly combining a boatload of charisma with a boundless need for approval.

The series stars Domhnall Gleeson (About Time) as Billy and Emmy Award-winning actress Meritt Wever (Nurse Jackie, Godless) as Ruby Dixie along with Golden Globe and Emmy winning-actress Waller-Bridge in a recurring role as Flick.

Vicky Jones has created and written the project and will also executive produce alongside Waller-Bridge through their DryWrite banner. The series is being produced by Entertainment One with Emily Leo of Wigwam Films also set to executive produce.

Waller-Bridge is best known for her critically-acclaimed comedy series Fleabag which stars Waller-Bridge, Oscar winner Olivia Colman, Hugh Skinner, and Sian Clifford. It’s second season won 3 Emmys and 2 Golden Globe awards including Best Comedy Series and Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Waller-Bridge’s amazing performance as the titular character. She is also currently working on BBC’s hit series Killing Eve which had already earned 12 Emmy nominations and 4 Golden Globe nominations with lead stars Sandra Oh winning her second Golden Globe Award and Jodie Comer winning her first Emmy Award, both for Best Actress in a Drama Series.
