Quibi’s Most Dangerous Game Trailer Starring Liam Hemsworth

Quibi has released the official Most Dangerous Game trailer for the upcoming action-thriller series starring Liam Hemsworth as he tries to survive in a modern Hunger Games-like contest in which the winner earns the coveted prize of $24.5 million. Created by writer Nick Santora (Scorpion, Prison Break) and CBS Television Studios, Most Dangerous Game will follow the story of a terminally ill man named Dodge Maynard who will do anything to provide for his pregnant wife before he dies. In the throws desperation, he accepts an offer to participate in a deadly game, only to discover that he’s not the hunter, but he is the prey.

The series will be led by Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games film franchise) as Dodge Maynard and Academy Award-winning actor Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained, No Time to Die) as Miles Sellers. It will also feature Sarah Gadon (Dracula Untold), Zach Cherry (Succession), Aaron Poole (The Captive), Christopher Webster (American Assassin) , Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga) and Natasha Bordizzo (The SocietyGuns Akimbo).

Santora will also serve as executive producer for the project, along with director Phil Abraham (Mad Men, Daredevil), Gordon Gray and Silver Reel Pictures. This project will be Hemsworth’s first major TV role in an American series after more than 10 years since starring in Australian TV shows such as Neighbors and The Elephant Princess.

Quibi, which is short for “Quick Bites” is scheduled to have its launch on April 6, 2020, with already more than a billion dollars raised from its investors. The streaming service, founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman, is set to feature shows that run for two to four hours in length and are broken down into parts that are no longer than 10 minutes in length.
