In The Fugitive reboot, when a bomb rips through the Los Angeles subway train he’s riding on, blue-collar Mike Ferro just wants to make sure his wife, Allison, and 10-year-old daughter, Pearl, are safe. But the faulty evidence on the ground and “tweet-now, confirm-later” journalism paint a nightmarish picture: it looks to all the world that Mike was responsible for the heinous act. Wrongfully — and very publicly — accused, Mike must prove his innocence by uncovering the real perpetrator, before the legendary cop heading the investigation can apprehend him.

The series is created by Nick Santora with Stephen Hopkins serving as the director and executive producer. Basil Iwanyk, Tom Lassally and Albert Torres are also set as executive producers.

The 1993 The Fugitive film which starred Harrison Ford was based on Roy Huggins’ 1960s TV series of the same name. In the movie, Ford’s Dr. Kimble, unjustly accused of murdering his wife, must find the real killer while being the target of a nationwide manhunt led by a seasoned U.S. Marshal played by Tommy Lee Jones.
