History Channel has released the opening minutes for the upcoming sixth and final season of the hit historical drama series Vikings, featuring a montage of Ivar the Boneless’ long journey across the world. The series returns with a two-hour sixth season premiere on Wednesday, December 4. Check out the video below! (via Rotten Tomatoes TV)
The 20-episode final season will be divided into two parts with the remaining ten episodes expected to premiere sometime next year. Series regular Katheryn Winnick, who portrays the role of Lagertha, will be making her directorial debut in one of season six’s episodes.
