Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 3 Premiere Date Revealed in New Teaser

Just days after Netflix teased the premiere of the third and final season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, the streaming service has officially locked in a June 14 premiere date along with a new teaser trailer. You can check that out in the player below!

The Netflix original series was the second of four live-action (now canceled) series, including Marvel’s DaredevilMarvel’s Luke Cage and Marvel’s Iron Fist, which all led to the teaming of the main characters in Marvel’s The Defenders. Of the four series, Marvel’s Jessica Jones took a suspenseful look into the life of Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, who works as a private investigator while she dealt with internal and external demons. The first season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones was the recipient of a prestigious Peabody Award.

In the second season, Jones is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave (David Tennant). Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.

Krysten Ritter is joined by a returning cast that includes Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez, among others.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix is executive produced by series showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (TwilightDexter), Raelle Tucker (True Blood), Jim Chory (Marvel’s DaredevilMarvel’s Luke CageMarvel’s Iron Fist) and Jeph Loeb, who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
