The 10 Most Binge-Worthy Shows on Netflix

If you’re like me, you love TV. There isn’t anything that I like better than sitting down on my couch after a long, stressful, day and turn on Netflix. The only thing that ever stressed me out about Netflix is when I can’t figure out what show I am going to watch. So I’ve decided to make all of your lives easier by just giving you the top 10 most binge-worthy shows on Netflix. I promise that these shows will not disappoint. Sit back, relax, and trust that if you choose one of these 10 shows to watch, you will be constantly entertained.

Stranger Things

If you haven’t already seen this show, I insist you watch it. The child actors are adorable yet so hilarious and the entire concept behind it is so confusing you’re on the edge of your seat the entire time wondering what the hell is going on and why it is happening. I would be SHOCKED if the vast majority of you haven’t already seen this show or at least heard about it. Take it from a girl that has watched so many shows on Netflix that it might be unhealthy – this is a must see.

Grey’s Anatomy

Shonda Rhimes has really dragged this one out. I believe that they are going on season 13? Maybe 14? See, I watch the show, and I don’t even know. There are so many twists and turns in this show that even if at some points you think in your head, “There is absolutely no way that this is even remotely possible,” you will still keep watching. If you love a good drama that constantly has you guessing about who’s gonna get killed off next, you will love this show.

The Office

I feel like just the title is enough said. This show is incredibly hilarious, and you will get way more attached to the characters than you’re supposed to. This is another show that has many seasons, but I swear it never gets old. It’s one of those shows can you can have on while making dinner, or you can sit on the couch for hours watching it and still be entertained.

Shameless

If you love a good completely nude sex scene or a story about a messed up family beginning with an alcoholic, drug addicted father, this is the show for you. That makes it sound bad, but this show is everything but. It may cross a few lines, and I wouldn’t recommend sitting down with your 13-year old and watching it, but it is one of those shows that makes you feel all different types of ways. You feel sad, you feel happy, you feel confusion, it’s all there.

American Horror Story

This one is more of an acquired taste. Each season is different, but each one tends to be more gory than the last. I would highly recommend watching this show with your full attention, because if you look away to check the time on your phone, five people have already been murdered and six new main characters are there. That’s dramatic, but the point is, pay attention to this show. The actors in it are amazing and the concepts are so dark and twisted that you can’t seem to look away.

Orange Is the New Black

This show touches on the majority of social issues that are happening in life currently. When this show first came out, I wondered how a show about a bunch of women in prison could be interesting; I found out shortly after the first episode. Their back stories combined with the drama that exist in this women’s prison makes it nearly impossible to stop watching. I swear, I blew through one season in three days.

Riverdale

This is a newer series. There is currently only one season on Netflix, but in between all of my responsibilities, I somehow managed to finish this one season in one week. You would think it would be predictable because it’s a bunch of high school teens living in a small town where a plethora of mysterious things start happening out of no where, but it is everything but predictable. If you’ve ever watched One Tree Hill, it’s basically a way better version of that.

Gossip Girl

While this is another one about teens in high school who later move to college, it is a good one. There is just as much drama as there is in Riverdale, but not quite as serious. There are a plethora of twists and turns for this group of friends, and you ‘re going to want to know who gossip girl is so bad that you might not be able to stop watching.

Parks and Recreation

This show came out shortly after The Office and relates to it in many ways. Some say that this show is better, I happen to disagree. Although, in my mind, nothing will ever really compare to The Office, this is a very close second. It is hilarious and the characters in it are so unique and quirky that you have no choice but to fall in love with them. Plus, Amy Poehler is in it.

13 Reasons Why

Last, but not least, 13 Reasons Why isn’t exactly a loving show that will make you laugh, but rather one that will probably jerk a few tears. It is one of those shows that you almost don’t want to watch because you know it is going to make you sad, but you have to find out what it is in those tapes. Overall, the message is good, and most of you will take something important away from this series.
