First Look at New Netflix Comedy Special Jerry Before Seinfeld

Netflix has released a first look at their upcoming original stand-up special, Jerry Before Seinfeld, featuring the world famous comedian trying out all-new jokes never seen before. Jerry Before Seinfeld arrives globally on September 19.

In the hour-long special, Jerry Seinfeld returns to The Comic Strip in New York City for an intimate stand-up set at the club that helped launch his career. Interspersed with never-before-seen material — including a library of legal pads with every joke he’s written since 1975, childhood videos, and more — Jerry performs the jokes that put him on the comedy map.

Jerry Before Seinfeld is the first of two specials the legendary comedian is bringing to Netflix along with his Emmy award winning series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which will arrive exclusively on Netflix in late 2017 with twenty four new episodes and all the previous episodes of the series. Seinfeld is also set to develop scripted and non-scripted comedy programming for Netflix, with additional elements of the deal will be announced later.
