Amber Heard, who next can be seen in Drive Angry 3D, is in talks to play one of the leads of the NBC pilot “Playboy,” reports Variety.
The hourlong drama is set in the 1960s heyday of Playboy clubs that popped up in several cities around the country.
The script was written by Chad Hodge (“Tru Calling”), who will executive produce with Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo.
Twentieth Century Fox TV and Imagine TV are behind the project.
