Neil Gaiman Heading to The Simpsons

Neil Gaiman, the author of “Sandman,” “Coraline” and “Stardust” (among many other works in a wide variety of media) looks like he’ll soon be turning up in Springfield, USA.

“About to do something really cool,” Neil tweeted today, “Up there with writing a DOCTOR WHO level of cool.”

He followed that tweet with the below twitpic clues, indicating that he’ll appear in a forthcoming episode of “The Simpsons” entitled “The Book Job.”

2011 is turning out to be a busy year for Neil all around. As indicated above, he’ll also be providing a script for an upcoming episode of “Doctor Who” this season and launched the year with his marriage to Amanda Palmer (lead singer of The Dresden Dolls). Belated congratulations from ComingSoon.net!
