Alexandra Daddario returns in Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches Season 3 teaser trailer
The teaser trailer for Mayfair Witches Season 3 is only 15 seconds long, but it successfully hints at what fans can expect in the upcoming chapter. As mentioned above, Rowan is a prominent part of the teaser, in which her eyes turn dark before she begins to levitate off the ground. The clip, which originally debuted during the latest episode of The Vampire Lestat, starts with Rowan, a neurosurgeon, approaching a patient on a gurney in a hospital. The sound of electricity cackling can be heard as she seemingly uses her powers.
The teaser has the theme of “Power will be tested.” The official log line for Season 3 reveals that it takes place in Salem, Massachusetts, and “will dive deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new ‘spellbound’ families and feature some of the historical happenings of Salem, the infamous town of witch trials and folklore.”
Besides Daddario, the Season 3 cast includes Harry Hamlin as Cortland Mayfair, Tongayi Chirisa as Ciprien Grieve, and Alyssa Jirrels as Moira Mayfair. Newcomers include Betsy Brandt, Eliza Scanlen, Omar Maskati, James Frain, and Michiel Huisman.
Further, Mayfair Witches is an adaptation of Anne Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches. Michelle Ashford and Esta Spalding created the series as the second entry in the Immortal Universe after Interview with the Vampire. Additionally, Mark Johnson serves as an executive producer on the show. He oversees the Immortal Universe for AMC. Esta Spalding, Michelle Ashford, and Tom Williams, among others, will also EP.
Season 3 comes out on AMC and AMC+ in 2027.
