Star Trek: The Original Series is celebrating its upcoming 60th anniversary with a special release for fans. The now-iconic franchise initially kicked off in 1966 on NBC.

Ahead of its 60th anniversary, Star Trek: The Original Series has revealed a special surprise for longtime, as well as new, franchise fans. The first three seasons, comprising 79 episodes, will be available in a new collector’s gift box edition via Amazon. The set includes Blu-ray discs for all three original seasons, along with several collectible extras.
The original series was created by Gene Roddenberry. Its main cast featured William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, and Nichelle Nichols. George Takei and Walter Koenig also played crucial roles.

The Star Trek: The Original Series 60th anniversary gift box set will be released on September 8, 2026. It is now available for preorder ahead of its official release.
