Chrissy Teigen, who has had quite a complex history with alcohol, revealed in late January 2026 that she is back to being over 50 days sober after relapsing in 2025. After her restart, the Star Search judge has claimed that her fellow judges, Jelly Roll and Sarah Michelle Gellar, have been very helpful in her journey so far.
“This is the very first set I’ve ever been on where I didn’t have a drink where I didn’t ever want one, I was just high off the fact that I got to be next to you guys, so thank you,” Teigen told her co-stars while on a chat with E! News during the show’s finale premiere.
“I could make the longest, most emotional speech about how important this was for me in showing me that I could just show up and enjoy life and be stupid and be weird and have people around to joke with and not need that stuff,” she added.
Teigen previously claimed that she would drink after work to wind down. “I’ve lived with bottles in my set for so long, and I just got so used to it,” she had said. But now, with really fun co-workers, it was easy for her to go without her addiction.
“We were once called a nightmare blunt rotation,” she joked, “and I think we’d be the most epic blunt rotation personally,” further adding, “It’s been really special getting to know them.”
During the interview, Jelly Roll assured her, saying, “Sobriety looks great on you.”
